Sai Baba Criticism

Sai Baba was an Indian guru who lived from 1926 to 2011. After a 3-day coma due to a scorpion bite at the age of 14, he claimed to be the rebirth of an Indian sage. In 1960 he then declared himself an avatar. God would now speak through him. After he performed so-called "miracles" in public, his ashram in southern India was visited by more and more followers. The "Darshan Square" in its ashram has regularly filled up to 20,000 people in recent years.

Sai Baba, also called Sathya Sai Baba, is very controversial.

Criticism of Sathya Sai Baba - He does cheap magic tricks that people think are "miracles"

With the simplest magic box tricks, he tried to tie people to himself. Thus he impressed his followers with the fact that he conjured up rings behind their ears, or materialized necklaces suddenly in his hand, or let "holy ashes" trickle out of his hand.
Magicians who have seen videos of his so-called "materializations" have realized that he took the necklaces out of a hiding place. (x)

Others observed that a pressed ash pill unintentionally fell to the floor when he handed over a rose. As can be seen in this video, he always took out the ash pill from under the stack of letters that he routinely collected in each of his gatherings. (x). The trick was as follows: With his right hand, he stacked a newly received letter on the stack in his left hand, quickly reaching under the stack of letters and taking out the pill, which he then crumbled to ashes over the head of a follower. - What a miracle!
Examinations of the "materialized" clocks and jewelry showed that none of the objects were made of real gold, none of the diamonds were real. As early as 2000, the shop where Sai Baba bought the things he "materialized" could be found. It is located in Hyderabad.

He is a phony

"If my dad wanted to, he could buy the whole school. He even calls Bill Gates and the US President on a regular basis. But he doesn't buy the school because he has no reason for it," says the 10-year-old notorious liar, who otherwise receives no attention in the class.

Sai Baba quote:

"My divine power knows no boundaries. I have the power to transform the earth to heaven and the sky to earth. But I don't do it because there is no reason for it."

That's the way someone talks who is otherwise known as a braggart. If you can do that, dear Sai Baba, do it or don't say it.

Sai Baba sexually abuses young men

Former students have described his sexual assaults. Swede Conny Larsson and American Tal Brooke have each written a book about him ("Behind the Clown's Mask" and "Lord of the Air") describing Sai Baba's sexual abuse behind the scenes. Jens Sethi, a former student of Sai Baba, reported him to the Munich police for sexual assault when he returned to Germany. Sai Baba also "materialized" miniature phalluses, which he then passed on to young followers, in order to then receive them in a "private audience".

Sai Baba always invited male pupils and students from the Ashram schools to "interviews" on his premises. There he asked them to have oral and group sex with him to satisfy him. Followers defended him that was to "free the Kundalini force". However, this practice was applied neither to any older men nor to women. There were adolescents who then played with suicidal thoughts because they didn't want to be gay. There was even a seven-year-old boy who cried for two days after an "interview" with Sai Baba. Doctors then examined him and found that he had been penetrated in the anus.

Many who have been around him for years call him a pedophile.

Sai Baba contradicts himself - but believes to be infallible

In a book called "Conversations with Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba" p. 164, John Hislop asked about life on other planets in the universe and Sai Baba commented on it.

J. Hislop: "Science says there are many planets with similar life."
Sai Baba: "There is no other planet in the whole universe that has human life or a similar life form."

In another book "My Baba and I" by John Hislop (p.225-6), we read exactly the opposite. When asked about extraterrestrial life, Sai Baba answers:
"... In other places in the universe, life feels its divinity and is one with the divinity and is quite happy and feels that everything is right."

As here, Sai Baba contradicts himself, as so often on important issues. Whether there is free will or not, whether there is a divine spark in every being or not etc. Today he says one thing, tomorrow the opposite ...

Chatter without real knowledge!

His predictions were not fulfilled

  • Sai Baba had predicted to Rita and Robert Bruce (here) that after his 80th birthday in 2006 there will be an immediate worldwide transformation of consciousness and peace is to come.
Yes, Sai Baba, we all have experienced this up close ...

  • Sai Baba predicted (here) that 20 years before his death (which would have been in 1991), he will be recognized as the "King of the World". Nine years before his death (that would have been in 2002), all Muslims would even recognize him.
Yes, the Taliban will surely confirm this on request ...

  • In 1976 Sai Baba predicted that he would become 96 years old. (here) Sai Baba died at 84.

  • In 2000 Sai Baba said to a Canadian (here): "The next Pope will preach my message". That would have been Josef Ratzinger.
So again: Pope Ratzinger publicly preaches the messages of His Holiness Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the gay Indian guru.
This has also been visibly fulfilled for everyone ...

Sai Baba's rebirth and successor - prediction that still has to be fulfilled

The fulfillment of one of his predictions is still pending. In 2019 (eight years after his death), he says, in the village of Doddamalur (which later will be renamed Gunaparthy) on the banks of the Cauvery near Srinrangapatna (near Mysore), a fisherman will find a child and calls it 'Prema Sai'. It will be Sai Baba's third reincarnation.

But there are other recordings which state that the reincarnation will occur within a year of Baba's death. Having died in 2011 at 85, after predicting his own death at the age of 96 (in 2022), Sathya Sai Baba has left his devotees in a state of confusion about the year of reincarnation. The dicussed dates now being possible are 2012, 2019, 2023 and 2030.
Like the four evangelists in predicting the Messiah, Sai Baba's followers will also take anytime any child and subsequently reinterpret and bend the story in such a way that it corresponds to the prophecies. Whoever believes does not want to know the truth.

Here is the description of how it happened with Jesus. How Jesus suddenly became the Messiah

Sai Baba has views that fit into every Ku Klux Klan round table - pride of the fatherland

His lines go about order and cleanliness and about the duty to show absolute obedience to the respective authorities. Nothing brings worse karmic fruit than disobedience. It is also important to be proud of your own country.

However, when Sai Baba says elsewhere, give up any identification, then the most virtual of all virtual identifications is probably the one with a structure like the "nation". This unsettling and destructive feeling of "pride" is something that should have completely disappeared when you are enlightened (the state without a self and an attachment).

What a primitive, stupid instruction!

Is this true?

   No!

Sai Baba founds a Religion "The Essence of All Religions"

Sai Baba cannot have been enlightened because he still wants to be "someone". The reason: He founds a religion which he calls "Sai religion". Like all founders of religion from Mohamed, through Joseph Smith (Mormons), Ron Hubbert (Scientology), Sai Baba must be someone who tries to compensate for his disguised feelings of inferiority by founding a religion with himself as the Messiah. Like all other prophets and founders of religion, Sai Baba says: "The essence of all religions is the Sai religion" (my own)
Like all religions, it contains a smorgasbord of arbitrary stupid rules of conduct. "You shouldn't eat meat", "You should be selfless", "You should serve the next", "You shouldn't drink alcohol", "Women and men should sit separately", "You should be dressed in white", "You should sing or pray with family members once a week "," you should honor your fatherland "etc. This is as far from enlightened knowledge as Singapore is from New York.

Sai Baba showed very earthly fears

Sai Baba always claimed that he was not only enlightened, but was actually the embodiment of the divine on earth - an avatar!
One day there was a murder conspiracy at the Ashram. Four of his followers had been banished from his immediate surroundings (it was suspected they had been abused by him) and they sought revenge. The four tried to break into his private rooms by force. The emanation of God, however, behaved like a mortal, shivering of fear: Sai Baba locked the door and hastily fled via a back staircase. In the end, there were six deaths.

If I could do miracles like Sai Baba, I would have simply turned the attackers into a pillar of salt. But he probably just forgot that he can do something like that...

Sai Baba has his name written hundreds of times a day in books

The followers in his ashram had to do the following: Write the name of Sai Baba over and over again in a book.
Even Kim Jong Un, the North Korean dictator, is more humble.

Criticism: Sai Baba puts doubters down

Sai Baba called critics who doubted his miracles "insignificant worms" (here).
So real miracles can only be recognized by those who are "significant", or what?

This is free of logic. (x)

But the interesting thing about it is this: Whoever describes others as "insignificant worms" has, in turn, an ego-need to highlight himself as "significant". (x) "Look who I am compared to these worms". A person can only imagine something virtual like "meaning" if he sees himself as significant through the eyes of other people. Only an "I", an ego can do that.

He ran a billion-dollar empire with millions of wealthy followers.

The followers and visitors became so numerous that the Indian government had an extra airport built a few kilometers away from the ashram, so big that Boeing 737s could land. After a time everyone in the ashram was asked discreetly to donate. Sai Baba drove different luxury cars, changing them every day. BMW, Jaguars, Mercedes ... etc. When they opened the sealed private premises after his death, they found 110 million rupees in cash, 307 kilos of silver, 98 kilos of gold, jewels and jewelry. Total value 8 million Euros. The ashram's fortune was estimated at $ 9 billion at Sai Baba's death.

Sai Baba had a hospital built where the poor were treated free of charge. (x) Doctors employed there testified that they would not let themselves be treated there because of the catastrophic hygiene. Conny Larsson says in his book "Behind the Mask of the Clown" that children were operated in this hospital who subsequently found that they lacked a kidney. The kidneys were sold on the black market.

Sai Baba made him to be called "Lord of the Universe"

Each year on his birthday, he lets himself be drawn through the crowd on a golden throne in front of tens of thousands of followers. He had himself called the "Lord of the Universe". (x)

There is still “somebody” who wants to be someone in other people’s perception. Light-years away from being free of Ego.
